Black Friars Distillery, founded in 1697, is the oldest working distillery in the world. The Plymouth Gin is still made there in the traditional way. Due to the low proportion of juniper and the absence of bitter aromas, the taste is significantly softer than with other gins, which makes the Plymouth Gin mild and pleasantly enjoyable both pure and in cocktails and long drinks.
