Passopisciaro - Vini Franchetti

Andrea Franchetti works with two very different vineyard projects. Franchetti created his first estate, Tenuta di Trinoro, from the ground up, on rugged farms and forests in the remote areas of southwestern Tuscany. While this was a significant challenge, it was equated with his efforts on the slopes of Etna to bring about the renaissance of the reclaimed, formerly abandoned, vineyards on Sicily's living volcano. Both sites are exceptional, complex and separate in terms of terroir. Franchetti has produced a portfolio of wines that is rich and varied from his Tuscan and Sicilian wineries. Each wine expresses the characteristics of the vintage, the specifics of the locations and the fullest potential of the varieties.
