In the 1980s he sold luxury labels in the USA. Then he went to Bordeaux to satisfy his thirst for oenological knowledge. Finally, Andrea Franchetti came to the Val d'Orcia in the early 1990s, where he laid the foundation stone for his wine project near the village of Sarteano, which he pursued with the utmost consistency from the start. Since the debut with the fruits of the 1995 vintage, which was still experimental, Andrea has not given up in his quest to create drops that are at the top, intense and so concentrated that you almost have to chew them.
