Port Wine

Port wine is derived from the Portuguese Vinho do Porto. It describes a red sweet wine, a white sweet wine is also rarely found and comes from Portugal. Port wine gets its name from the port city of Porto, where after production in the Alto Douro region in Portugal's Douro Valley, it was shipped for aging, storage and distribution.
