Alturis
In the extreme north of Italy, not far from Venice and very close to Cividale del Friuli, on the border with Austria and Slovenia, a very special microclimate favors the Altùris vines. The Julian Alps protect the vineyards from the harsh north winds, while the mild breezes from the Adriatic ensure a mild climate and create ideal conditions for the production of quality wines.
The beautiful hills of Friuli are called "Altùris" in dialect: a hilly country criss-crossed by vineyards. And it was there that Marco and Massimo Zorzettig, descendants of a family steeped in tradition that has been active in viticulture for three generations and embodies the healthy entrepreneurship of Friuli like few others, founded Altùris with the aim of creating incomparable wines in which all the aromas and scents of the autochthonous grapes come into play.
