It differs from the typical London Dry in its less dry style with toned down juniper. It has been produced according to the same recipe in the Blackfrias Distillery in the port city of Plymouth in South West England since 1793. Due to its earthy notes and the fruity aroma, it is wonderfully suited to be enjoyed pure. In addition, it is of course the perfect base for cocktails. It is made from the finest grains with clear water from Dartmoor National Park and refined with botanicals such as juniper, coriander seed, orange and lemon peel, green cardamom, angelica root and orris root.
