The VAT 69 is one of the oldest blend whiskeys in Scotland with a long history and tradition. A classic, powerful style Scotch with a touch of Islay Whisky.
At the end of the 19th century, William Sanderson decided to produce a blended Scotch whiskey. Together with his son, he mixed more than a hundred different blended whiskeys. After a sample tasting, the testers selected the best cask. The choice fell on the vat ("VAT") with the number 69.
This whiskey convinces with the taste of different herbs and a touch of bitterness.
