The authentic Centerba Toro, obtained by infusing aromatic herbs collected in the high mountains on the Majella d'Abruzzo in alcohol, is still produced today according to the secret formula of the nineteenth century. Developed in 1817 by the pharmacist Beniamino Toro, it has been jealously guarded and passed from father to son ever since.
