Tarquin's Gin is a contemporary twist on the classic London Dry Gin, hand distilled in tiny batches near Padstow on the Cornish coast. Alongside juniper and other new traditional botanicals, Tarquin uses hand-picked violets and fresh orange peel, which bring a fresh and floral aroma of their own. All botanicals are macerated in grain alcohol overnight in one of three copper stills, named Tamara, Senara and Ferrara. Only the heart of the distillation ends up in Tarquin's Gin, which is distilled with local water to 42% vol. is reduced.
A distinctly aromatic, oily gin with well-balanced notes of juniper, fresh citrus, violet, coriander, cinnamon and liquorice.
