Proud, majestic, complex, effervescent: he is the friendly giant of Masi. The reference point for the category of Amarone, which, together with Barolo and Brunello, make up the nobility of Italian red wines. It is the result of Masi's recognized expertise in the Appassimento process and implements it with a long overripening of the grapes on bamboo racks and a minimum of three months aging in noble woods. The wise use of the autochthonous grape varieties of the classic Valpolicella area, Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara is enriched with the addition of the original Oseteta, rediscovered by Masi.
