Proud, majestic, complex, effervescent: he is the friendly giant of Masi. The reference point for the category of Amarone, which, together with Barolo and Brunello, make up the nobility of Italian red wines. It is the result of Masi's recognized expertise in the Appassimento process: the autochthonous grape varieties of the classic Valpolicella area, Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara are stored on bamboo racks over the winter months and thus concentrate their aromas.
