Crème de Cassis de Dijon is a black currant liqueur with a creamy, viscous consistency and intense berry flavor. Only high-quality and particularly aromatic French berries such as Noir de Bourgogne and Royal de Naple are used for Cassissée, with the fruit content being very high during production. The berries are mainly cultivated around Dijon, in Burgundy and the neighboring regions. The freshly harvested currants are steeped in the purest alcohol for two months.
