Description
Only high quality Jim Beam casks are chosen for Basil Hayden's. The first bourbon was distilled by Maaster Distiller Basil Hayden Beerits in 1796 with the addition of rye corn mash, which was unusual at the time. A higher proportion of rye than usual is still used for this bourbon whiskey.

Tasting Note:
In the mouth spicy, peppery, with notes of honey. The finish is dry and pure.
