Description
The Sauvignon 2017 "The Wine Collection" is now the fourth Sauvignon edition of this young collection. TWC comprises varietal wines of perfection from a very limited production. The Sauvignon is certainly the white grape variety that is undisputedly most closely associated with the St. Michael-Eppan and Hans Terzer wineries.

The eye:
Straw yellow with greenish reflections

The nose:
Exotic fruit, scent of gooseberry, banana, elderberry

The palate:
Mineral, racy acidity paired with finesse, elegance and length

Maturation:
Fermentation, partial malolactic fermentation and aging in barrique tonneau. Assemblage after almost a year and further aging on the fine lees for three years in steel tanks.
