Description

Consumption recommendation:
The terrace wine for warm summer evenings. Likes to accompany starters such as porcini carpaccio, light cuisine and "pasta fredda" - the Italian pasta salad.

Up until the late 1970s, Pinot Blanc and smaller portions of Chardonnay were usually matured as Pinot Blanc in mixed batches. In 1982, the Chardonnay in South Tyrol was first made as a pure variety by the St. Michael-Eppan winery and experienced a tremendous boom. It presents itself wonderfully juicy, inviting and with lasting persistence.
