Description

Every year, APPIUS expresses the best of its vintage: the most prestigious cuvée is reinterpreted every year through the vision of cellar master Hans Terzer.
The 2018 vintage enabled each individual grape variety to ripen optimally, so that the pleasure of drinking APPIUS 2018 in the glass increases like an elegant dance of aromas to a truly exciting sensory experience.

The eye:
Chartreuse yellow with malachite green reflections

The nose:
Intense, energetic and lingering: exotic fruits (banana, melon, mango), Williams pear, white peach, Renette apple, white currant and gooseberry

The palate:
Fresh taste with character and recognition value. The sensation of warmth envelops the palate, balancing the synergy of acidity and minerality

Consumption recommendation:
Excellent accompaniment to hearty fish dishes such as turbot or monkfish. Excellent with a tasty seafood risotto, but also with dishes with wild fowl or tender veal dishes.
