Even though it's Brunello's little brother, it seduces you with self-confidence from the first to the last sip. Pure elegance with Burgundian finesse. Notes of black cherries, cedar and sour cherries are dominant. The tannins are fine and dry and cover the fruit like a silky cloth. Has a lot of freshness but also a nice pressure in the finish with notes of black chocolate and blackberries. A big, "small" wine - a Rosso di Montalcino can't be better.
