This prestigious cuvée was created in 1964 as a tribute to the founder of the house and is the result of an assemblage of the Grand Crus from the locations of the Montagne de Reims (Pinot Noir) and the Côte des Blancs (Chardonnay).
The eye:
A beautiful golden yellow color with bright reflections. The crystalline and sparkling optical appearance underlines the formation of pearls through the rising of fine bubbles.
The nose:
Balance between the tension created by the development of the wine (peaches in syrup, fine apple pie and alpine butter) and noble aromas (fresh figs and small wild berries).
The palate:
It offers the richness and delicacy of a complex yet refreshing aromatic curve. Fine, intense notes from the orchard, combined with the characteristics of stone fruit (Nancy mirabelle plum, Bigarreau cherry) and enhanced by a radiant floral nuance (hawthorn).
