The unique character of the Swiss distillate is characterized by its spicy juniper aroma in combination with coriander and Asian "botanicals" such as cinnamon, mustact and dardamom. Orange and lemon peel give GIN 27 the necessary freshness. Licorice and violet root harmoniously round off the composition. What is special about the GIN 27 is not only its ingredients, but also the development.
Gin 27 combines tradition and down-to-earthness, character and herbal expertise cultivated over generations in one. With its distinctive juniper aroma, the light note of coriander and the balanced mixture of Asian spices, Gin 27 tastes fresh and spicy. With its spicy juniper note, the Gin 27 sets accents and has character. Three bar professionals from internationally renowned establishments in Zurich were involved in the development of Gin 27. Peter Roth and Christian Heiss work in the Kronenhalle Bar and Markus Blattner in the Widder Hotel. They supported the fine tuning and made suggestions, which were taken up by the Appenzell distillers. Together they let him grow into what he is. A gin with an unmistakable character.
