Kirk & Sweeney was a notorious smuggling ship that smuggled the finest rum from the Caribbean to Northeast America via a secret sea route during Prohibition at the beginning of the 20th century. On the onion-shaped bottle you can see an old nautical chart showing the schooner's secret route. The ship was confiscated by the authorities in 1924 and decommissioned, but fortunately rum production is still active to this day.
The Kirk & Sweeney Rum is made from the best sugar cane from the Dominican Republic and matured in American oak barrels for 12, 18 and even 23 years.
