Villa Raiano

Villa Raiano
Wine growing in Irpinia has a long history. It developed geographically along two rivers, both originating from the Tuoro-Terminio massif of the southern Apennines, but winding on two different sides. On the banks of the Sabato river, which flows on the eastern side, are the municipalities that make up the two white grape varieties of the province of Avellino: Il Fiano di Avellino DOCG and Greco di Tufo DOCG. Along the banks of the Calore River, which flows on the western side, one finds the red denominations, all linked to the Aglianico grape Taurasi DOCG in primis. The winery covers 27 hectares of land divided between the different vines Fiano di Avellino DOCG, Greco di Tufo DOCG and Taurasi DOCG.

Since 1996 the production has been carried out in the old family oil mill in the Raiano area of the municipality of Serino (AV). It is the heart of the company. A building perfectly integrated into the environment, surrounded by vineyards and oak forests. Above, a panoramic terrace dominates a beautiful valley carved by the Sabato river, which falls proudly from Monte Terminio.
