The Pinot Noir is not only one of the oldest grape varieties, but also one of the noblest. Native to South Tyrol for over 150 years, it is one of the most popular red wines. Thanks to the saignée method (gentle juice extraction from the mash), an excellent must is obtained, from which a fresh, fruity rosé with a surprising acidity is produced.

The evening downdrafts of the Mendola Mountains give the entire terroir of the St. Michael-Eppan winery their characteristics: they give the grapes those extraordinary properties that characterize the aroma, the unmistakable freshness and the longevity of the wines.
