Description
Intense ruby red, ripe red fruit, flowers and spices in the bouquet. Very accessible on the palate, soft and lingering on the finish, an excellent Brunello.
The winery
La Poderina is located in Montalcino in the Castelnuovo dell'Abate area, known for the particular "elegance and balance" of its wines. The property faces the historic 1st century BC Benedictine Abbey of Sant'Antimo. Montalcino is nestled in the Val D'Orcia, which was declared a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO in 2004.

Nearby you can visit some unique small thermal villages like Bagno Vignoni.
