The Lugana consists 100% of the autochthonous grape variety Turbiana. It was intended as a vintage wine, but only develops its full fullness years after bottling.
When young, it presents itself fresh and straightforward. It shows great finesse and elegance with delicate notes of white flowers, balsamic notes and subtle aromas of apricots and almonds. With time, the mineral note becomes more pronounced and it develops a complexity of spicy aromas with hints of iodine and the taste of candied fruit. On the palate it is a real flatterer, spicy and lively with a perfectly integrated acidity. In its early years, it is best served at a temperature of around 10 degrees, with light cold or warm appetizers, or to accompany boiled, steamed or grilled fish.
Soft on the palate, balanced, fine, refreshing and lively acidity, complex and yet with finesse, expressive, very harmonious, good length.
